inb4 - first post: mad skillz yo!
Ok guys its for real now. My first blog post. I'd say that since I have had this blog for over a year now but have yet to post anything I will admit that I have a bit of a procrastination problem. But lo the deed has been done, this blog is now live. So to all my nizzlez in da hizzle dis gon b the most legit blog that was ever too legit to quit! Here I will post the crazy everyday stuff that is my life as a GHCU.
So first up like many lame motivational papers I'll start with a quote. Yoing it up with my deluxe yo-yo last weekend after practicing some mind boggling magic tricks my housemates came to the realization that I was a man with a few too many "useless" skills, to which I replied "Sometimes, when you're a man of many skills... you lose some." Well this seems to have become a recurring theme lately and makes for a good life lesson. You see GHCU's, when I was a lad I looked at the world around me and said "gee all the other kids with there pumped up tricks are pretty cool, I will be just like them someday... ALL of them. and they THEY will be the ones needing to run faster than my Tom Kuhn Silver Bullet yoyo." So I practiced all sorts of "skills" like pen flipping, and whistling and beat boxin and skateboarding and free stylin, but never really took the time to get particularly good at any of them. So although I could pull off some impressive moves, I would soon forget how to do those awesome tricks and lose my mad skillz. So basically if you want to impress the ladies you need to FOCUS. also something I am not particularly good at.
See if you get really good at one or two skills you can show up all those other posers and be a true hustler. Cause hustlin is what its all about, can ya dig it? So basically don't put your eggs in a million little baskets because that shits expensive but also don't put them all in one big basket cause yall know that shits heavy. Basically just round stuff out, cause smooth is the way to be, balance and you shall not fall. So that's all for this now, and I guess I’ll catch yall next week with whatever words of advice or amusing anecdotes I see fit for my next personal circle jerk.
K thx bi-
your friendly neighborhood GHCU.
